Beth Massey is a Level 3 Personal Trainer. She completed a Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training with Premier Training International on a full time intensive face-to-face course. 


She is also a StrongFirst Kettlebell Instructor Level 2. This means that Beth spent three days on an intensive and challenging kettlebell instructor training course with StrongFirst. This involved not only learning how to instruct the use of kettlebells in a safe and effective manner but also passing a number of strength and technique requirements. 

From her own personal background and formal training, Beth has extensive experience to draw on to inform her work with clients. She understands what it is like to be a beginner, setting out on those first steps towards running and to be a more experienced individual with performance goals in mind. She is friendly, encouraging and positive in her approach but is firm and challenges clients to work just that little bit harder, run a little bit faster, lift a little bit heavier in order to keep them progressing.

How does it work?

If you are interested in training with Beth, the first step will be to arrange a face-to-face or phone discussion to explore your current fitness levels, your training history and goals. This will be reinforced by the completion of a Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) and a Health & Lifestyle Questionnaire. 


The second step will be to arrange a free assessment session which usually lasts 1 to 1.5 hours and will help Beth gauge your current abilities in order to inform the development of your future training sessions should you wish to proceed. If you decide to commit, then all payments are made in advance via bank transfer and sessions are booked in as and when required.

Small group training

If you would like to organise a small group training session with your friends or work colleagues, please get in touch. Small Group Training offers those taking part the opportunity for closer input from the trainer without the full costs of an individual one-to-one personal training session.
